Patricia Cobb
OwnerPatricia Cobb, Owner
As an executive managing director of Bridges2Literacy, Patricia has committed herself to preparing preschoolers for a rewarding kindergarten experience.
Having a degree in sociology, with a minor in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, along with a teaching certification in early childhood education from Bowie State University, she acquired the necessary skill set to be successful in pouring knowledge into her students while creating a bond with her young scholars.
Her instructional and management career span over 30 years. During that time, Patricia has gained valuable insight into the psychology of children and how they process information. She has been able to use this awareness to develop teaching strategies that benefit all of the students placed in her care.
According to Patricia, “No parent sends their child to school to fail. It is the responsibility of those who take on the task of educating young minds, parent and teacher alike, to invest in their future and ours.”
As with all things in her life, she thanks the Lord for opportunities, wisdom, diligence, and motivation to be a part of the excellence of Bridges2Literacy.
